Nina brings a rare blend of financial expertise and healthcare experience to her work at Chartered Financial Services. She focuses on retirement planning and long-term financial strategy for executives, individuals, organizations and small businesses. Her approach is thoughtful, detail-driven, and centered on helping clients understand the options available to them, from employer benefit plans, investment and insurance strategies, and tax efficiency planning. Enabling clients to comprehend the impact of options and choices made is of paramount importance to Nina as this empowers them to gain control of and shape their financial lives. Nina collaborates with professional and educational organizations as well, helping clients understand the financial tools available to them through their workplace and beyond.
Prior to working in the world of finance, Nina earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Columbia School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. She then pursued her Master of Arts in Public Health from the Columbia Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in New York. From there, she went on to serve as the Administrative Director and Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Craniofacial Neurosurgical Center and the Lead Poisoning Prevention and Treatment Center at St. Peter’s University Hospital, as well as an Advanced Practice Nurse at the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
After 13 years in the medical field, Nina began her journey in the financial industry as the Manager of Agency Training for Prudential’s North Western Hills Financial Group from 2000 to 2006, where she trained, supervised, and recruited financial professionals. Now, she works alongside her husband, John, and their daughters, Emily and Sara, in their family financial practice, and holds the following certifications and licenses: Life and Health Insurance license, Property and Casualty Insurance license, Registered Investment Advisor, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®*), and Certified Long Term Care Consultant (CLTC).

Nina now calls Spofford, New Hampshire home. She is a loving wife and mother, and proud grandma of Jackson, Cameron, Emma, and Olivia, and the best pup mom to Mikey. When not working with clients, she enjoys traveling, snowshoeing, hiking, gardening, reading, listening to music, and being with her family.
